Originally from California, I moved to the UK in 2009 to enjoy Europe’s culture, be closer to family, and appreciate the recreational opportunities that Wales offers. I’m passionate about counselling, and find that I do best when I’m feeling balanced myself. When I'm not working, I’m likely to be practising my own self-care; hiking on the trails nearby, riding my bike around the country lanes or on the trails, or maybe catching a movie.
My qualifications were obtained in the U.S., and are maintained each year: MA: Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Lewis & Clark College(Oregon) LPC: Licensed Professional Counsellor (Lic. #C2313 Oregon, United States) CADC I: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor (Oregon) CGAC II: Certified Gambling Addiction Counsellor (Oregon) NCC: National Certified Counsellor (United States) NCGC II: National Certified Gambling Counsellor (United States) I'm also a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their code of ethics. I enjoy the frequent opportunities my work gives me to help high-functioning, intelligent clients achieve greater insight and improve their lives. I continue to attend numerous professional trainings each year to stay on top of the counselling field, but it’s also through my own life experience living in various countries that I’m able to connect with a wide range of diverse and interesting people. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you! |
